Blond Brownies

Ingredients:

  • 2.75 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2½ teaspoons baking powder
  • ¾ cup butter
  • 1 pound brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup nuts; chopped
  • 6 ounces chocolate chips

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 350F. Grease 13x9" pan. Melt butter, stir in sugar, cool 10 minutes. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well each time. Combine flour (if pre-sifted) baking powder and salt. Stir into sugar and mix. Add nuts and chocolate chips. Bake 25-30 minutes.
