Butternut Squash

Ingredients ###-

  • 1 large butternut squash
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • fresh sage (1/4 cup) more or less
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 4 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt and black pepper
  • Parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. To make the butternut squash. Preheat your oven to 425. Peel and chop into 1 inch pieces
  2. Transfer the butternut squash to a lightly oiled baking pan.
  3. Arrange garlic and sage leaves around butternut squash slices.
  4. Combine olive oil and melted butter. Drizzle over squah.
  5. Finally, sprinkle with cheese and italian seasoning, salt and pepper
  6. Roast 25 to 30 minutes.
