Chicken Breasts Lombardy

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 6 chicken breast
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • ¾ cup Marsala
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 chopped green onions

Directions

  1. Cook mushrooms in 2 tablespoons butter in large skillet, stirring constantly, just until tender. Remove from heat and set aside
  2. Pound chicken to flatten
  3. Dredge chicken pieces in flour. Place chicken in pan with about 6 tablespoon butter in large skillet. Cookover medium heat for 3 to 4 minutes until golden. Place chicken in 9-inch baking dish.
  4. Mix Marsala, chicken roth, salt and pepper together and pour over chicken.
  5. Sprinkle with mushrooms, green onions and then cheese
  6. Bake at 450 for 15 minutes
