Cinnamon Candy
Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon butter
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon oil
- 1 teaspoon red food coloring
- 1 cup white karo syrup
Directions:
- Combine sugar, water and syrup in a sauce pan. Cook until hard crack stage is reached (300F).
- Take off heat and add butter, cinnamon oil and food coloring. Beat with an electric mixer for 2-3 minutes.
- Pour into buttered 9-inch cake pan. Cool and break into small pieces with a knife handle.
